WVAQ's High School Invasion with Jason Knight is back! Jason Knight could be coming to your school to broadcast live and he will bring 3 awesome up and coming bands to do a new music showcase concert live in your high school gymnasium. This Friday night 8p-10p at the Craig Civic Center in Kingwood. Dance will be hosted by Lacy neff and open to teens everywhere

P.I.T.A. (People Interested in Theatre & Acting)
June 14-July 1
P.I.T.A. Pockets is a 3 week intensive summer acting workshop for children. Workshop sessions will run Monday-Friday, June 14th-July 1st, from 8:30am-12pm. Work will culminate in public performances of a play on June 30th and July 1st.
P.I.T.A. Pockets will be lead by M.T. Pockets’ Artistic Director and Founder, Toni Morris. Fee is $225.
For parents needing an afternoon option – BOPARC will transport your child from the MAC to Marilla Pool for a supervised swim session. Pick up is before 5:30pm. The afternoon swim option is $60 per child for the entire 3 weeks.

Adopt A Trail
Service groups and other organizations are invited to apply to adopt a section of the Caperton and Deckers Creek Trail. When you adopt a section of the trail you will be given 1/4 mile of trail to maintain at least 2 times a year, maintenance typically will be trash pick-up and leaf removal. In recognition of your community service effort your portion of the trail will have a sign or plaque installed with your groups name on it. In addition there will be an annual party for all adopt-a-trail groups. For details call 304-296-8356.
